Pure Trek Canyoning

We will pick you up and whisk you off to our canyon, about a 20-minute drive outside La Fortuna.  Then transfer to 4×4 trucks for an exciting short drive to our ranch house to gear up.  Then you are off for a morning of exciting and exhilarating waterfall rappelling in our spectacular rainforest canyon.  We then take you to our beautiful base offices and tropical gardens for a delicious Typical Costa Rican lunch that will give you the energy to continue your day of adventure.

Rural Costa Rica Cooking Class

We will return you for a few hours of rest to your hotel before your second fun activity of the day will begin. In the afternoon a quick shuttle drive will take you to your second destination where a culinary experience awaits you. During a guided tour of an organic backyard farm, you will harvest all the fresh, organic ingredients for today’s cooking class. You will learn about organic gardening and Costa Rica’s favorite vegetables, fruits, and spices. All collected produce plus passion will be our special ingredients for the delicious meal we will prepare incl. handmade “Tortillas”, “Empanadas” or “Picadillos” & ‘Patacones”. All of these recipes will make up one of Costa Rica’s most typical dishes: “Casado”. A meal where you will savor a variety of flavors ~ rice, beans, meat, plantains, picadillo, salad, and a very special homemade sauce. Your “Casado” will be accompanied by a fresh fruit juice; also called “Batido” & a Mojito. Vegetarian and vegan choices are available.

Please Note: Since we are based in the rainforest, there is a possibility that it could rain at any time of year.  We operate the tour rain or shine, unless weather conditions are extreme. If for any reason we have to cancel the tour, you will receive a 100% refund.
