Chocolate Tour
We’ll start your day with the Chocolate Tour. Here you’ll discover the ancient origins of cacao—from its role in Costa Rican culture to the full process of making chocolate as we know it today. This is a truly hands-on experience: harvest fresh cacao fruit, learn the drying and hand-grinding techniques, prepare your own traditional chocolate drink, and taste the organic chocolate produced on site. It’s educational, delicious, and fun for all ages.

After finishing the Chocolate Tour, we’ll take you to Pure Trek’s base offices and tropical gardens for a fresh, typical Costa Rican lunch—perfect fuel before your next adventure.

Then it’s time for canyoning! We’ll drive about 20 minutes outside La Fortuna before switching to 4x4 vehicles for a short ride up to our ranch house. Once geared up, you’ll spend the afternoon rappelling down stunning waterfalls inside our rainforest canyon. It’s safe, exhilarating, and unforgettable.
